Your hymen can be broken by a tampon, stretching, exercise, and a number of other things, but virginity refers to a lack of sexual intercourse. When I first had sex, I didn't have an intact hymen because it'd been broken by any one of those things.

Lots of things can break the hymen, exercise etc and some women do not have a complete one. being a virgin has to do with sex if you have not had sex you are still a virgin.

I used tampons and retained my virginity, so don't worry.
If you were a gymnist I would tell you that it could be a different story (because of the type of stretches they have to do).

No. Having sex destroys your virginity, not a tampon.
And is you are talking about your hymen nobody that matters is ever going to check your hymen to see if you are a virgin.

Virginity is to do with sex.
Tampons are not.
You could break your hymen with a tampon, but you'll still be a virgin.

I'm 44yr mom in ohio. I have never heard of a tampon doing that. and I use tampons too and they never did that to me personally. if you like call your doctor. but as far as I know. I have never heard anyone having this happen to them or to myself.

The only way to lose your virginity is to have a penis inside your vagina.
