I was appaulled to find out my daughters school allows them to take MP3/ IPODS/ DS's etc to use at playtimes. Am I the only one who sees anything wrong with this? I called the school to complain but was told well dont let them bring it in....which misses my point completely! This takes away from social interaction at break time. And also my daughter lives partlyt with her dad during the week so I cant control what she takes in that way.

So Ive tried complaining to the school but that fell on deaf ears...whats my next step?
I have also phoned local schools and they dont allow it either.

In my school (its a middle school and i'm in year7) you're totally not aloud to bring ANYTHING valuable, but people do anyway and lie to their parents :P ! I bring my camera into school all the time even though we're not aloud!!! My mum STILL thinks we're aloud to as long as we don't use it in class, and she used to be a teacher herself! MUHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

NO they are not. If they get stolen or damaged the school is NOT liable for repair or replacement.
