Revenge is a burning desire.... once fulfilled, it leaves you burnt out!!
It doesn't pay back.... neither the subject gets any pay back nor the object is duly paid back.
An eye for an eye is a totally misplaced concept, because the two eyes are never the same!!!

This assumes that a kin would be prepared to maintain on your legacy of revenge and that the different will besides. It additionally assumes that revenge is very own, as in one on one. it would desire to no longer be. it would desire to be an entire team. And a guy or woman won't take revenge on you in the event that they theory the guy you killed deserved it. All this ability that simply by fact of a few tussle one in each of my and somebody elses ancestors have been given in and my ancestor became killed that i'd circulate to the decendant of the murderer and kill him. this is retarded. Revenge is temporary, and should no longer be drawn out, and no remember if this is, its ridiculous and gets people nowhere. seem on the wars between jews, muslims, and christians. they're killing eachother for stuff that happened over 2000 years in the past. Do they truly have self assurance that their gods prefer them to circulate slaughter one yet another over a technicality? I doubt it. much extra ascinine is the muslim sects in Iraq. the version between them initially is who the truly successor to Mohammed would desire to have been 1500+ years in the past. One reported the subsequent in blood line, the different reported next in non secular score. What the hell?! they're conserving alive a 1500+ twelve months previous argument of a bearucratic place! it would be like a 1500+ twelve months legal conflict of who's next CEO of a business enterprise-the son/daughter on the CEO, or the guy good decrease than him in bearucratic heirarchy? different than all people is death over the muslim variations. that is all approximately means and dominance, and so is revenge.

I don't believe in revenge as much as cause & effect, or "karma" if you will. Whatever anyone puts "out there", good or bad, comes back to them, in one way or another.
Of course as a human being I do sometimes feel the need for revenge, when I am wronged or hurt badly. But I don't act on it. I don't need to. Things have a way of taking care of themselves.

The only thing i believe is that revenge is going to get you now where
You will end up being just as bad as the person who did something bad to you
Be the better person and forgive them for what they have done and you will be happier

there is no perfect justice in this world. when you kill the killer, what happens next? you become the killer.
when the murderer is dead, it doesn't bring your family back to life. it will just commence your thirst for justice thus resulting in terrible situations. it's a terrible feeling of loss, it's desolate, merciless. however, no matter what, retribution doesn't lead you anywhere. a moment of triumph and then a lifetime of regret.

No, I'd rather let them suffer and pay their dues in prison than take their life. Besides, I don't think the 'eye-for-eye', ' tooth-for-tooth' tactics ever works in this day and age. Revenge begets revenge, and there'll be no end to it.
