i ordered the core package, which i now regret, i cant afford a hard drive for a few weeks but want to buy oblivion, i presume i just wont be able to save my progress?

Yes. No retail game for the 360 requires a harddrive for basic functionality. However to get the added content downloadable from the Live Marketplace, you will need it.

you can still save ur oblivion saves because the xbox has a tiny tiny memory thing for about to game saves but that wont last you long so try and get the hard drive. u shouldget one even if ur not going on xbox live coz u dont have to worry about memoryy again but if you cant afford it get the memory block thing.

Oblivion-sure thing mate!.im sure you are aware buying a hard drive for your Core wud cost you heaps if its only for a game or two(if you dont require xbox live).recommend you get a memory card (64 mb).dats plenty for a bunch of game saves.but, well if you wanted downloaded content.you have to shed some for a HDD!
