it is already above his fireplace. If Jimmie Carter with his speach impediments and the Dixie Chicks with their mediocre album won all their Grammys what are the odds Al Gore will not win? I would say one million to one. These awards shows mean nothing anymore. If you hate Bush you win.

thebobcat, I realize that Carter and Gore do not hate Bush, but the people running the entertainment industry do. I lived in LA my whole life.

If the dixie chicks can win anyone can win!!! The Grammys were a joke!!!! It is not just about their songs I do not like them and they are rude!!!!!! They do not care what they say to offend anyone. Since when did they become so perfect????

That's so funny, because I bet if you asked Al Gore or Jimmy Carter, they'd tell you that they don't "hate Bush". They just disagree with him. But I guess if you disagree with him, you must be wrong, huh? God forbid anybody speaks out against the President.
No, if Al Gore wins, it's because his documentary was the best of the year, and because it covers a theme that we ALL had better start paying a little more attention to. Not just sweep it under the rug because it's an Inconvenient Truth.
