Alex Gordon - 3B - Kansas City Royals
-Gordon is a serious five-tool threat who could make a huge impact this season. His power is still growing and two or three years down the road he will have the chance to be a .300/30/100 type of player year in and year out. Along with Teahen, Butler, DeJesus and Shealy he is the future of a solid young Royals squad.
Matt Garza - SP - Minnesota Twins
-Garza plowed through the Twins minor league system last season and had a respectable showing one he hit the show. Many people forget that Francisco Liriano had similar struggles during his late season call-up in 2005 and we all saw what he did in 2006. Garza has the same potential and a serious chance to crack a very weak rotation.
Alex Pie - CF - Chicago Cubs
-Pie has been touted as the CF of the future in ChiTown and the current lack of a solid CF option makes his arrival appear that much more unavoidable. His defensive skills have never come into question and management was very happy with his progress at the plate in winter ball. If an outfielder goes down or the Soriano in center experiment fails...expect Pie to arrive in a big way in 2007.
Lastings Milledge - OF - New York Mets
-Milledge has been hyped about as much as you'd expect from a young stud in New York City, but has yet to produce. He put too much pressure one himself during his short stint last season and said in an offseason interview that he realizes he can trust the guys around him and won't try to put the team on his back. With the right mindset now in place and a can't-miss-attitude that seems to mesh perfectly with Jose Reyes and David Wright...2007 may be the year of Milledge.
Andy Marte - 3B - Cleveland Indians
-For years people have been waiting for Marte to arrive in Atlanta he was stuck behind Chipper Jones and spent last year stuck behind Aaron Boone of all people. The Indians have made the right choice and cut ties with Boone leaving the third-sacker all by his lonesome at the hot corner. Marte has tons of promise and finally has a starting job locked up. Now it's time to see if he can hold up his end of the bargain.
...those are a few of mine. Hope that answered your question.

Well I consider Dice-K and I think he'll win rookie of the year, but besides him there's the usual Delmon young and Alex Gordon, and lets not forget about Homer Bailey of the Reds. So far his career and numbers have basically matched Hughes and he has a good shot of making the starting rotation from the start where as the Yanks want to wait on Hughes.

The three most obvious choices are Delmon Young, Phil Hughes, and Alex Gordon. Gordon and Young are both five-tool talents, while Hughes has outstanding poise, command, and velocity. All of them are the top prospects at their position and team, and are usually ranked as the 1-2-3 prospects in all of baseball. A wild-card pick, however, is Reid Brignac, of the Tampa Bay Rays. He is a phenomenal hitter. While he doesn't have the stats of the other guys mentioned, I rank him up with them because he plays shortstop, a position with far fewer stars.

Francisco Liriano has a great career ahead of him.
Joe Mauer as well, though he is a 3rd year man, he can prove he's gonna be great at such a young age.
Go Twins
