I hate the Red Wings!
Probably Lidstrom, he has deserved to win it the last ten years. I think they give it to someone else just to break up his streak. The last person that won it over Lidstrom and should have was Blake a long a time ago. Pronger is good-not elite. Boucher is having a good season-if he continues it next year he will draw more attention. Although the Norris is really just a reward for the highest scoring defensemen.

Lidstrom has definately proven himself over the years as one of the elite defensemen of the NHL. This year he has earned the title of best defenseman, thus winning the Norris Trophy. There is a decent sized gap between any other contender for the trophy. As long as the guy keeps it up, he will most likely have the title.

Nick Lidstrom is, hands down, the best defender in the NHL of this generation. Not quite as good as Bobby Orr but getting there.

Nick Lidstrom by far, he by far the best defensive man in the league, he may not be as rough as most but he is still DA bomb. Not to mention he is a great caption that Detroit has chosen after Yzerman retired.

Nick Lidstrom. He's leading the league-not just defencemen-the league in the +- ratings. He was leading defencemen in scoring, don't know if he still is. He is a great leader. He very seldom makes any mistakes. He is a smooth skater, very skilled and always in position.

Nicklas Lidstrom, or Chris Pronger. Both leaders, both the best defenseman in the league. I'd also throw Sheldon Souray in there.

Lidstrom for sure!
His plus/minus is extremely high and he is easily the best defenceman in the league. He has put up a good point total so far and he deserves it

Robyn Regher should be on that list, but isn't as offensively minded. I would have him anchor my defence any day, but Lidstrom is playing yet another great 2 way season (+36,50 points, and 27 min/game!!)

precise, the Aussies as is their wont will play now no longer undemanding, that is not any longer open to communicate! some recreation enthusiasts play ought to call the playing playing cards or the images like Clarke, Chris Rogers (ask your self), Faulkner, Haddin, Pattinson, Siddle, Lyon & Doherty. at circumstances England would want to be very susceptible to the colorful Aussie area yet that is it, I problem lots touching on to the Aussie batting, a potential for a protracted time now. The bowling grew to grow to be into continually promising, a useful crop of quick bowlers being accessible like Jackson fowl, Hastings, Kane Richardson all with some solid %. & flow. to boot the glaring undeniable reality that, the promising batters have not contain the help of, Khwaja now no longer in want, Cowan promising yet now no longer completely solid, Warner in trouble-free terms favourite for pulling the rabbit out of the hat & Maxwell untested at this aspect. Yea, England quite are the outright favorites, its in trouble-free terms a count number of time no count number if the Aussies capitulate in the first attempt or now no longer! which will furnish shivers down their necks & in the adventure that they are down 3-0, then the Ashes urn comes shrink again to previous blighty
