I thought Nevaeh was pronounced Nu-va-uh... Too trendy...When I hear a child named that I think of the parents as Followers not leaders. Pick a so called NORMAL name, and you will be more original than picking some trendy name. Plus why would anyone want to be Heaven "backwards"? Is that another way of saying HELL????

I honestly do like the name Nevaeh!
But you both need to agree an the same name there are so many names that you can pick from go to babynames.com
The riming names are way over the top it is very important that you like the name too besides you are the one having the baby!
Good luck I hope everything works out!

I HATE Nevaeh, it has to be the worst invented name I have come across for a long time, it's ugly and frumpy and most people would have no idea how to say it, in fact I only know now because you wrote it!! It's horrid.
I like Jack, but agree that Jack Mack is more comedy than a proper suggestion.

I happen to think that Nevaeh is a very pretty name! Who cares if it's heaven spelled backwards! The only way your child is going to know tht is if yo tell them! There are different ways to spell Nevaeh. As far as the boys name... He must be high, or just plain young!

I think Nevaeh is a cute name, but if you disagree about it then you should try and think of a different name. Oh, and the rhyming name is a bit too much.
Good luck, I hope when you have kids it won't be as confusing.

Personally, I think the name Nevaeh is being over used, it's getting kinda ghetto. As far as Jack Cadillac Mack, he's gotta be kidding, are you sure you want to reproduce with this guy?

I really don't like the name Nevaeh at all. It's contrived. And if the opposite of heaven is hell...it seems this name would be along those line. I say, why not just name your child Heaven? It's cuter and easier to pronounce. I had a friend growing up whose parent's named her Treasure, because that's what she meant to them. She was their treasure. I think those kinds of names are so much better than the contrived ones.
Just my opinion though...
I do think your fiance was pulling your leg about Jack Cadalliac!! Sounds like something my hubby would say just to get me all worked up ;)

I don't know if "Nevaeh" was something he thought of himself, but if you're hoping to be unique, I already know of someone with that name. And if you have to tell us how to pronounce it, the child's going to have a miserable time correcting everyone.
I like the name Jack, but yes, with a last name Mack, that's bad.

He was probably just joking around. It's easy to do that and sound serious. But since you would be the one going through the pain just to have the kid, personally I think you should get the naming rights.
