1. To be simple, Algebra = Math. I had Algebra at school.
Instead of the uknown value, u r using letters, i.e."x", "y", etc. and looking for possible options to solve the equation.

2. For example, 2 + x = 7, this is an algebraic equation.

3. The equality relation is always defined such that things that are equal have all and only the same properties. For any quantity a, a = a.
