No, the only way you can get Celebi is through a nintendo event, trade, or pokemon stadium.

I've never heard of this so I'm assuming that it is untrue.
It is true that Celebi appeared in the game, but only if you had an adaptor that alloweh you to connevct your game boy to your mobile phone (I think it was only released in Japan). If you had that and had all of the badges, you could use it to download the GS ball item. This would make a wild Celebi appear in the forest where you chase the Farfetch'd.

nope u have to get it from pokemon stadium. my bro has all unknowns and he has a celibi only because he got the game preowned and somebody put it on.
