I'm afraid extra tuition after school is usually privately funded - however as kids are dyslexic you should be able to get extra one to one sessions for them during school hours. My brother got this some years ago which really helped.

My friend got through this late in his school career without any extra tuition, altough i understand his secondary school were great, giving him the use of a laptop etc.

I only went to primary school with him when his sentence structure and handwriting were quite poor but he has obvsiously improved, I can tell that just through talking to him and also because he has 4 offers to go and do a history degree despite this being an essay heavy subject. I always imagined he would go into maths or science which are full of hugely successful dyslexic people.

Sorry I don't actually know the answer to your question but thought you might find this intersesting.
