generally, a couple hours a day...a bit more on weekends.
All-time longest? I'm too old to remember the all time record...but let's just say in the past year or so, it's probably about 12 hours on GuildWars: Nightfall

A true addicts response-you nag a lot when you want some attention. Your fiance has become a video game junkie. Now comes the moment of truth for you, since he isn't able to give much thought to the future of his relationship to you. This is sure to erupt into a full scale fight as your resentment is festering like an open sore. How this behavior overtakes a mature guy is a mystery for sure. But here it is with you caught up in it and it is certain to be the end of the relationship. You're not to blame for the way you feel. Like being cheated on, only not by another woman but an inanimate object void of human emotions. Sort of like what he has turned into. The good part is that you won't go to prison if you took an ax to his video counterpart. So maybe if you disappeared for awhile and left things to see where the chips fall. If you're not around to see that he has food or the such you can at least tell if he would notice your absence and if it is worthwhile for the two of you to continue together. So make the ultimatum and tell him GAME OVER! Either you or that senseless machine that has devoured his will to function on a human level. It's better than living like you are doing now and will give you the perspective you need in order to see if he really is the "mature guy" that you were intent on marrying.

it depends how my day is from day to day,
but the longest i have played was a tie between
final fantasy 7 for 10 hours
grand theft auto: vice city for 10 hours
and also Bully for 10 hours
(all ps2)
