whats the best cell phone for coast to coast and any time minutes ? any suggestions .you see im gonna drive truck and i want to be able to call home from anywhere and anytime .

I live in Mass and Verizon is the best. There is no other carrier that has coverage like it. When I lived in Colorado ATT (now cingular) was the best. I think you will need to determine where you will be the most and then get a phone accordingly. Also, dont get a contract unless it has a 30 day opt out clause so you can cancell with no charge if it isn't working for you.
