My dog. He may not understand a word I say but he can sense what mood I'm in and always reacts in the perfect way.
A great tonic when I'm feeling low.
Also my best mate Andy. We've been friends for about 8 years and share alot of thoughts and feelings. I think I'm lucky to have such a close friend.

We all have a very personal side to us which is entirely different to the one that we show to anyone else. This is fact. Its also the reason why we are not understood. How can someone understand something they have never seen before.
I feel the same by the way.

My daughter does. And I wish my husband would listen to her. He'll ask her what to buy me for my birthday or whatever. She will tell him, and then he thinks it's a dumb idea. He will go out looking for something "better". I wind up with a lot of big stuff that I didn't want or need instead of the little thing she knows I want.
My daughter often does thoughtful things, just because she knows I'd like it. She will call and ask me if I want to go to a concert, when my husband would assume I dont want to go because it's a performer he never heard of.

My mother is the only person who can get half close to me! She understands these crazy genes that she's had more experience with than me!! So at the end of the day a person who can understand you best... is a blood relative!!

my brother and i have an inderstanding. i can say anything and he will 'get' it and always look at me in the best light (whilst being fair and objective too) in a situation so gives useful advice.
i would say he understands me very well, when i was a toddler, he always knew what i was trying to say ( which toy or food or whatever i needed to shut me up)
now we are adults, things change- but our friendship stays firm. i am blessed to have this built in best friend.

Jesus-my Lord and Savior-understands me the MOST, but my future husband will know my deepest thoughts as well!

No one knows you better than yourself. Others get to know the things we allow them to know and sometimes that's everything and sometimes the wall comes part way down and sometimes it stays up.
