It depends on what you want to change the color of. If it's your own text, this is very simple. The code goes like this:

TEXT HERE

Now obviously the above is extremely overboard. But it gives you an idea of the type of control you have over your text and other elements on your page.

You could also do it like this:

TEXT HERE

Then, in your about me section, put this:



etc etc. you get the picture.

By the way... anybody who says that their profile is "all pimped out", yet gives you a link to a pre-made layout site, is lying.

I don't know the codes myself, so I'll link you to a site that will give you a huge variety to choose from:

When you choose your layout, highlight and copy the code. Now go to your profile info and paste the code into "people i'd like to meet" or "about me".

this will change the background color

or to change the text try:
