If you are permitted visual aids, use them and make them very professional. If you attend a major University, they possibly have a service on campus that creates professional posters for a fee usually of about $100.00. Investigate that service. If you need speech-making advice and if you have time, no matter where you go to school, contact the nearest Toastmasters' Club. They are international. Someone will assist you will materials for your immediate needs and possibly tutor you through one or two practice presentations. Then, consider joining the club and attend their meetings. It is very fun and easy and what you learn serves you well for the rest of your life. If you need professional-appearance advice, dress as the teacher or professor does. Stand straight. Tone down hair style, make-up and jewelry in order to avoid distraction and dilution of the impact of your delivery. If you need paper-preparation advice, make sure to have two teachers or professors from different fields read through it and offer editing. Practice standing up before a mirror. I go through all of that every time and pretty much consistently just faint when it's time to speak. Good luck.

Paper presentations are of different types.
We have seminars, symposiums, national/international conferences, Journals etc.
But the basic format would be:
1) Title of the Paper
2) Authors' names and addresses
3) Abstract - a paragraph describing your work
4) Introduction
5) Proposed work description in detail
6) Results
7) Conclusions and references if any
Original work would be highly beneficial and has the potential to be published as Journals or as research papers in National/International Conferences or Symposiums.
Sites regarding Journals and conferences:
IEEE, IEE, AMSE, ASME, IE etc.
Many educational institutions host Conferences and Paper presentation contests, so get in touch with national university websites.
