Narcissistic? Perhaps. Unnecessary? No! It was something that ABC requested when they were negotiating to bring the show to the network. Since Salma is an executive producer of Ugly Betty she was willing to do whatever it takes to get the show on the air. It's a very common practice in Hollywood - Sandra Bullock produced/appeared in the "George Lopez" show, Jennifer Lopez - the MTV reality show "Dance Life", Courtney Cox Arquette - the FX show "Dirt", etc. I like Salma Hayek but I didn't think the role was a very interesting one.

i recognize what you advise... i began to say who would watch a tutor like that and now i'm recording it even as i'm no longer homestead! i love Betty and that i love her nephew!!! someone stated her and her boss ought to celebration... before each and every thing I did too yet now... i imagine they ought to easily be tremendous acquaintances!!
