Would you hire an event planner to plan an event. Like office, retirement, birthdays, engagement and wedding parties?

It depends on how big the event ur talking a about..
Small events wont need an event planner..
But if its one big event...juz get busy with ur colleagues
or neighbors....the plan will be done in no time.

There are two types of events. one that is personal in which you are directly involved and the other business events. In case of personal events you plan it on your own and manage it, unless you are doing it on very large scale. Business events likely involve event planners. It is also a matter of prestige.

Hope to be of any help to u.

No, because I enjoy doing that stuff myself -- I think I even secretly enjoy all the stress that comes with it! Plus you can save a lot of money by doing that stuff yourself.

The only exception would be if I absolutely didn't have time to plan a necessary event, like I was sick or had just had a baby or I was working lots of overtime at my job or something like that.

Sorry I wouldn't. Half the fun is the planning. I planned my wedding out of state & it was easy & I had fun doing it. I did most of the legwork in one weekend visit to the other state.
