I want to take the Tri-Rail system from Pompano Beach to the Miami boat show, is that possible, where exit?

The boat show is mostly at the convention center in Miami Beach, so you can't take Tri-Rail all the way there. If you want to go on transit, transfer to the metro rail at the north end of Miami (Tri-Rail transfer station, just north of the airport stop). Ride downtown to Government Center, and catch one of the lettered buses to Miami Beach.
