At something remembered from the past, or do you just laugh there and then. When was the last time?

I ASK BECAUSE I WENT TO SEE MY BOSS EARLIER, AND HAD TO KEEP MY FACE STRAIGHT THINKING OF SOMETHING WEEKS AGO.

When my sister watched a TV show about wells, turned to me and said:
'' Yes, but how does the water get in there when there's a roof over it ? ''

I'm always recalling something I've done or seen and laughing about it. Some people (maybe rightfully so) may think I'm nuts, but it's nice to have funny memories in reserve, especially when things get tough. The last time I broke out laughing was yesterday. I was speaking to my friend Pat. All the sudden things got quiet. Next, I started laughing. He asked me what made me laugh. Last week, I had bought (for the 2nd time) Jim Carrey's DVD "Me, Myself and Irene." One of the scenes is where he is arriving home from work on his motorcycle wearing his Rhode Island Highway Patrol uniform. He's reached the breaking point because of his neighbor's Great Dane crapping in his yard every morning, and because the wife steals his newspaper off his front porch and takes it to her bathroom to read while using the facilities. So, without saying a word Hank walks in their house to retrieve his newspaper from his wife. Next you hear her scream. Then Hank goes over to a place in his neighbors' yard, drops his pants, opens the newspaper, and lays a pile in their yard. Next, the movie shifts to a scene at an ice cream shop and shows chocolate soft ice cream being oozed out of a machine on a cone. Very funny toilet humor.

I do sometimes.. smile and laugh by myself, talk to myself. Not when I remember my past, because I learn and take lessons from my dark past. If you don't wanna burst out laughing, try to think and memorize something that makes you really depress and sad emotionally.....

Yes when something cues a memory. Last week at a film I was watching but my friend was speaking to me at the time and she didn't see what was so funny about what she had said so I had to explain.

My husband has done it a few times in his sleep. It scared me as it sounded at first like he had burst into tears. I could not wake him up till he had finished and he was in hysterics when he had finished.
