Not enough info.

I wonder if you gave her something for Valentine's day. If you did than it will be a different story if not than do not expect anything from her as well.
Valentine's day is about love, not about presents, cards or money.
How did you spend this day? Have you been together? Did you show her that she is important to you and you love her very much?
We all look for afirmation of love from our partner. Remember that if you will treat her right she will never leave you. :) Valentine's day is just another chance to show how much you care about person you love. Every day life is an every day chance to show your love to your partner. :) Don't wait for a holiday.
I'm not talking about spending money on presents every day...lol

Some people grew up in the families where nobody give any presents for Valentine's day or didn't show any affection. So may be this is the case with your honey?
Or may be she just tired of Valentine's hype?

Never leave the one you love for the one you like because the one you like will leave you for the one they love.... it's a fact. :)

Good luck.

Probably means she has seen through all the hype about valentines day, and is refusing to pay the over inflated prices for cards and gifts at this time of year.

my husband and I only wish each other Happy Valentines Day- no cards or gifts. we have been married 29 years. Did she let you know how much she cares about you- that should be what matters. give her chance, valentines day is not over yet.

My wife said " do you mind if i don't bother to get you a card this year ?"

Is that consideration, apathy, or just plain sufference.......i can't decide.
