Colors of objects are the color that they reflect.
A red object reflects red light and absorbs the rest.
White objects reflect all wavelengths.
Black objects absorb all wavelengths.
The concept of color is scientific. Exact wavelength and frequencies effect the retina a certain way.
Some people have color blindness and are unable to see some or all colors.
