The producers of the movie are paying advertising money since we are used to seeing Jim Carey in a funny role not a thriller. They are very afraid of the "cable guy" effect.

There is a group of highly-placed people, in influential positions in the media, who are promoting the idea that the number 23 has some kind of significance.
The real reason for this is to draw people's attention from the number 24, which does indeed play a vital role in the destiny of mankind.

There is nothing special about it at all, it is just a number like all of the other infinite ones. Why bother thinking about it when it does not hold any significance in life?

We should fight this ridiculous manipulation of the people by large corporations (in this instance, the movie industry) by stopping talking about this stupid movie, and not going to see it.
