I'm 26 and an MBA with a $147,000 (approx.) income p.a. I've been with my girl for the past 7.1/2 years and I love anime. Come on you jerks that doesn't sound like the profile of a loser, now does it?

People have different opinions about anime or anything else.. People like to watch anime, so what? It's not like we're up to no good or something.. It's not going to hurt anyone, you're not going to die if someone is watching anime..
Besides anime is fun to watch.. There's no harm in watching it..
Anyway if you think that it's for 'lozers' and weirdos, why did you come here in the first place? You're just wasting your time..

I enjoy a good anime from time to time(bleach, naruto, and that like) because it is deemed to be more of an art form that just regurlar cartoons and there is a deeper storyline and character development. Anime type shows can get away with more stuff like violence,sexual content, and just plain profanity then regular programming and cartoons. You may think that anime is for losers, and that is your opinion and is respected, but have you actually ever watched or seen one Anime type show. You have to give something a chance before you state it the way you do. Anime is just better overall with graphics,storylines, characters, and visual design. Subbed(Jap with english subtitles) beats the Dubbed(english version-semi censord) versions any day of the week.

its different for every people. it just happened that some people like anime, and others like movies, books, sports etc. for me its a real interest because its very appealing to the eyes, and there are many which has great storylines. love comedy too. very entertaining for me.
im probably a weirdo coz i dip my fries in ice cream, but definitely not a loser. i have a good job and a nice bf, decent friends and loves to travel.

Anime is just another way of telling a story. Just like there are good TV shows and bad TV shows, there are good anime shows and movies, and bad ones. It's no different. So you can not like anime all you want, but that's about like saying, "I don't like reality TV." Same thing.
As for me, I enjoy anime, and I'm pretty mainstream. I like that a lot of anime is from a country other than the U.S., and I can see what types of subjects are on the minds of other cultures.

I don't consider myself or anyone else a loser, but everyone is weird in their own way. The world would be a very boring place without us weirdos. I'm new to the amine scene, but I am really enjoying it. To me anime represents life without boundaries or limitations.

a lot of ppl like anime because it gives them something new to see other than crime dramas and reality tv. it's nice sometimes to see two different shows with storylines that aren't exactly the same. so if ya wanna bash anime, read between the lines a little bit .lll.
