I stay in Elizabethtown. We were fortunate, without potential in trouble-free terms six days. We suffered no authentic harm to our sources; our in trouble-free terms tree were knocked down many years in the previous in a thunderstorm. did not lose a lot in the way of food; I positioned a sparkling plastic 35-gallon trash can in the bathtub, crammed it with ice and snow (dissimilar that!), and placed the food in there. We stayed warmth through confining ourselves to at least one room (the bedroom), burning lots of candles for warm temperature (you'd be shocked how a lot warmth a candle places out), and cooking on a touch propane camp range. It wasn't too undesirable. warm showers is what I neglected maximum. do not prefer to do it again any time quickly, besides the undeniable fact that.

I'm in Illinois and we got almost a foot of snow. Schools here are closed for the second day in a row. Add to that the fact that my husband couldn't make it to work because of the roads...kids and husband both home?! I'm going friggin' nuts!

Not here. It's going to be 30 tomorrow and 38 on Friday. Snow would be welcome!
BTW - that's celcius, which is between 90 and 110 farenheit.

no snow storms here in the houston area, but our temp has dropped to the mid 30's and we might even get a few hours of freezing temps later this week.
this is probably it for winter here. soon we'll be mowing that grass again.
