They reason that we never fly the union jack, or the st.George's cross flags, is as our government had decided that it may offend people of a different ethnicity, yo know like Americans, Asians etc. The government seem to stop everything like that. Hope it has answered your question.

The Union Flag is th eflag of Britain (by the way Union Jack is the flag flown from the bows of a ship only)
We do fly the flag as often as we ever have - just we have never been ones to do that much. Often, at sporting events, the athleat is in support of England or Scotland or Wale only and therefore will fly there home flag. This has always been the case too.

This is because the patriotism of this country is being oppressed and down right destroyed by the ruling elite.
The very term patriotism is now synonymous with racism with the English, who have been spoon-fed this nonsense by the media for far too long.
The question was 'why?' They are attempting to wring our Englishness out of us. This is for the prurpose of future European integration and a step closer to the New World Order that the oligarchs desire England to be a committed member.
By telling someone that they cant fly their own flag as it might upset someone from a different country is not an attempt to stop the foreigners from feeling threatened. It is purely a strategy to encourage racism which by the media is deflected onto all muslims.
This is a balancing game our supposed leaders are playing with our lives. But one thing is for sure, the BNP will benefit hugely and David Cameron looks set to step into Blairs shoes. Brown does not fit the model of the New World Order. And Britain will be one step closer to losing our nation all together, let alone the freedom to fly our flag.
Be proud to be British
Be proud to fly the flag
But remember to be careful at where to point the finger of blame when it comes to political correctness.

I have this urge to pin a Union Jack and a St George's flag up in the area where I live - I suspect PC Politically Correct Plod may arrest me for it. I wonder if I walked down Whitehall pass number 10 with both if they would stop me? It makes you wonder doesn't it?
It is not that we are not proud of being British - but we are not allowed to anymore - as somehow it translates into being racist - so basically Labour have managed/allowed to completely alienate all sense of national identity away from us all. Hooray for Labour - perhaps it is their only successful project - thank goodness it will also hopefully be their downfall!

A few have basically answered the question its the PC councils and Guardian readers who hate the Union Flag and The St Georges . They are in the main self loathing liberals who support the EU and think we are Europeans even though we have not had a referendum . No Asian or any other ethnic minority has complained about the flag it is a smokescreen to undermine patriotism to deny our identity and replace it with allegiance to the EU. I say enough is enough all who care display a flag the more the better so they can get the message.

Could be that Blair, Brown and their New Labour cronies have succeeded in knocking the GREAT out of Gt Britain for the time being. I have no complaint regarding the true Labour supporters.- it just seems the others are always on the 'make' for themselves. Have you seen the report of the ridiculous expenses claims now being revealed. One rule for them and another for us ! As soon as we can get them out of Office, the pride will soon return. Mind you it will take a while to get out of the mess Brown will undoubtedly leave.
It will be great to be able to fly the Union Flag again with pride.

Union Flags fly over every council house and government department building in the UK, and all of our embassies overseas, so I can only assume the Daily Express ran another made-up xenophobic piece this morning.
