2) Ti amo, bimba! Or bimbo if talking to a man; but "baby" with this meaning is also used in Italy. Please not that "bimbo" in Italian is a male child (synonymous of "bambino"), not a gorgeuos barbie-like young woman!
3) Buon compleanno
4) E' fantastico (literal, but also "meraviglioso", "wonderful")
5) That's very idiomatic... "Buffon è grande / è un grande" if in the context is clear you're talking about him as a man, while if you're talking about him as a goalkeeper the meaning is "He's a great goalkeeper"; more straight "Buffon è un grande uomo" ("Grande uomo" is "Great man" intended as for moral values)
6) Ti andrebbe di rivederci? ("would you like if wee meet again?") Ti va di rivederci? (the same, more informal)
7) "Ugly" in what meaning, could you be more specific about the context, since in Italian the words to used should be very different...? An ugly looking person f.i. should be "una cozza" (a mussel), mainly used for women but not forbidden for men :) while "è un cesso" (he/she's a water closet) is more offensive.
8) Buonanotte after 22:00; buonasera between 18:00 and 22:00.
