Chii from Chobits for the prettiest anime girl. Followed closely by Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop. I don't know about the boys. I'd say Spike Spiegel, but I imagine his hair throws some people off.

i think gundam seed has the hottest anime characters. the guys: athrun zala, kira yamato, mu la flaga, rau le creuset even if the dude wears a mask. actually these guys are just the beginning every pilot they feature there are hot!!
the prettiest anime girl: lacus clyne also from gundam seed. well, she's a pop star so she'd better be pretty. but this girl has a whole lot more. she's smart, nice, brave, and opinionated. the ultimate anime girl if you ask me. (not that im a lesbian, im just saying... ;))
