I went to a club the other day and was dancing next to a woman who told me to 'f off, you p-a-k-i'. No man has ever racially abused me since I've been sixteen.

Women are more likely to say that kind of thing cos they can get away with it more than men.

No, actually I think opposite, the men are the ones that give the people that you bumped into the ideas that P A K I is a bad thing.

Even more disturbing, the minorities in a given situation are the ones that most likely have the racial tension. Take for example if I went to the Philipenes, or Russia,,,,I would stand out in the crowd, and any jeer or laughter I would take offence to, whether I said something or not. Just because of my skin color and what language I spoke.

Women are more likely to be followers of men in this area since I would not "do" anything, but let it go. My husband might be enraged hearing about this, and then giving me ideas that P A K I were bad for me, then when I met someone of P A K I I would react as my husband made them out to be.

apparently women are more likely to vote tory - so i agree

Not saying tories are racist, but I believe that if you are a conservative, you have a predisposition to become racist.

Cant be bothered to elaborate on that.

also I think women generally are not as nice as men. They can be very horrible to other people, especially other women. I dont know what it is, but im glad to be a bloke.

And sorry to hear youd been racially abused. I can imagine it wasnt a very nice experience. I personally probably would have slapped the ***** across the dancefloor - but hey, thats me

In my experience men are more racially intolerant than women. Men are very territorial (bit like cats!) and can feel threatened when confronted by foreigners in their own country, eg., they're taking our jobs, taking our women, etc. The woman who spoke to you in that way probably has a racially intolerant father and/or brothers who have influenced her. Judging by her choice of language, I would put her comment down to the arrogance of ignorance; don't dwell on it too much.

just because one woman said something racist, doesn't mean that most racists are women.
after all, women do not start the wars that are usually based on hating the other nationality's beliefs/religion/politics
it was men who started organizations such as the KKK
it was men who have planned and set into motion the mass killings of other races

if a woman is acting racist, it's probably because of the men in her life
or it's possible that you were just dancing a little too closely

It depends. In some areas, woman have been sent to prison for sending letters through post boxes which containd racial comments but men are probably more likely to be racist (Not being sexist) but in the news, Jade from big brother was racist and she is paying the price. I hate Jade!!!

You just had an unfortunate encounter with an ignorant person.

In my experience it's usually men but that isn't exclusively.

I wouldn't let that excuse for a person bother you, you've got to feel sorry for them really. She must come from a bad backround and be poorly educated. People like that don't know any better.

Okay, so the woman shouldn't have said that. No offence, but do you have an attitude with women. You seem to have a hatred for women. Have you had a bad experience.

No, i don't think that racist's are more likely to be women.
What i do think, is that this was a horrible woman, and you were very unfortunate to meet her.
Some people are just ignorant and rude.
