I have a report in Access and I'd like to copy it over to word in exactly the same format so I can email it out.
Or alternatively is there an easy file saving way of emailing Access Reports?

The best way to do it would be to install a PDF printer driver. Then you can "print" the report to save it as a PDF, and e-mail that.

There are plenty of free PDF printing tools - a quick Google showed http://www.cutepdf.com as a good example.

You can export your Access report to .rtf (Rich Text Format), but unfortunately, some formatting will be lost. Fonts are retained, but drawn objects such as lines are not.

If you are e-mailing to someone who also has Access installed, you should export your report to a .snp (Snapshot) format, which preserves the report layout exactly as it appears in Access. The Snapshot format requires that the recipient have the Snapshot Viewer installed on their PC, which is installed with Microsoft Access.

You should be able to email the report from Access rather than copying it into Word. If you really must import it into Word then use OBDC (see Word/Access help files) to import/export the data.
