I never have, I didn't think you could star your own question. I know you can't vote on your own question. It should be the same with starring. If not it should be. It is just my opinion. But, I would say maybe they are interested in their own question.

I have done it accidently....after asking a question...I wanted to see what the star button was about...right after it started....& I pushed it...then it starred my own question....OOPS!...
I dont anymore.....lol
