Yes, but by gay men as well...and the comments were neither solicited nor warranted. Totally "out of place".
Some people, both gay and straight are guilty of the same lack of etiquette.

idk. cuz they're asses...ppl are always like that with my guyfriend, who is gay, but he actually isn't a virgin, so yes to answer your question I have come across this behavior, and its just flat out annoying...

It's their method of justifying their own sexuality and boundaries "I'm not like you you're [BLA]. Therefore I'm okay [in my own little bubble]". It happens often.
