I have a second interview for a job tom and they decided this morning that i need to do a presentation for it.

Just wondering if anyone can give me any advice on them, or point me in the direction of websites with any advice?
i need to talk a little about myself and why I want the job!

I'm full of the cold at work and my computer at home doesn't have powerpoint.

Great!!

You can download a free trial of PowerPoint '07 from Microsoft for 30 days. If you are doing this type of a presentation you will need to make sure that the hardware requirements are arranged ahead of time. What computer will you be running presentation from, will it be able to open the brand and version of presentation software that you have chosen, and who's projector will you be using, if one is needed.
Obviously the MS website is not the ultimate authority on making presentations, but it's helpful for the basics in a hurry.

stay calm - greater trouble-free mentioned than completed i comprehend. talk slowly - your much less probable to make blunders and so won't beat your self up which you have have been given long gone incorrect. do no longer take offence - it incredibly is extremely like a coaching of what you would be doing if you bought the interest so pretend you have already have been given the interest and are discussing this along with your colleagues no longer interviewers. bear in mind those human beings are going to %. faults- it incredibly is not via fact they do in comparison to what you have completed it incredibly is basically via fact they p.c. to ascertain the type you take care of criticism. in case you quite do no longer trust some one tell them say "with all due appreciate i do no longer agree via fact...." they'd desire to ascertain your an useful communicator and could no longer take offence given which you dealt with it in a mature and well mannered way. bear in mind you had the 1st interview so they'd desire to have concept you had something particular basically be your self and toughen the actuality which you are the final individual for the interest. skill of advantageous concept - you're proper for the interest how could they hire all people else? sturdy success hun and happy Christmas.

I don't know if you know anything about William H. Carver.
The guy who did some amazing suff with a peanut.

Somebody gave him a suit to wear for his presentation.
He said "If they want a suit to talk to, then I will send them the suit. If they want a man, then I will go to speak with them."

Well, he went before congress.
Congress had only alloted him 10 minutes for his speech.
Well, they were so impressed by his speech that
he ended up speaking for over an hour.

He knew what he was talking about.

The moral to the story?
You should be confident in your abilities.
Though it doesn't hurt to look nice.
