I'm 17 and I only have one or two friends that are guys. I haven't started dating yet, but I always find myself flirting- even when I have no interest in people. Is there anything I should know about males which would help me? Most of the guys I know my age, are really mean(espescially in groups!), so where could I find some worth hanging out with?

Do just like a normal and good girl, eventually, you will make a lot of male friends. Just give your best shot! Hey! got an idea how about this, This is a Yahoo Answers with tons and tons of both male and female participating from all over the globe. Why don't you look at their info by clicking the photo or avatar frame. Then choose to e-mail them. If you cant make friends with flesh and bones (i mean in person of course) then make friends digitally with sending e-mails to someone you want! Try it! I already got a friend from South Africa and we're in good relation as friends. Come on! What do you say?

flirt just a little men like that. also talk to them about things that interest them, wrestling, cars and games. listen to them, dont talk about girly things cos they just are not interested. be calm and dont giggle too much, that shows them that you are nervous and eager to impress. be yourself in a low key and when you know wat kinda guys they are then come out of your shell. guys are mean in groups just so they look good to all their friends. that just shows how insecure and immature they are, so dont even try to make friends with losers like them. a true gentleman is like looking for an uncut pink diamond , really rare but some of them are out there, not really pretty when you first see it but real beauty deep down. sometimes you gotta look real hard, in places you wouldn normally look, like your science class, or they guy that all "the cool guys" call a loser. you will be surprised

My advise is that you find your soulmate from one of your good friends. There's always a risk of going out with a friend, coz if the love ends the friendship also ends. So, be careful and best of luck

Honestly, you can't really be friends with guys. All guys want from girls are their punanies. When you think you have a friend, he's only friends with you mainly to eventually see you naked. So just stick with girls. Good luck
