The England football team is lacking grit, determination, passion and ruthlessness. Jack Bauer has a proven track record of delivering - and he could shake up our bunch of overpaid prima donnas into a world class team. Does he get your vote?

Seems like a beautiful fit. Bauer is the master of succeeding in impossible situations. And with the pressure that the England manager always has on him, the dearth of good strikers England has at its disposal, and the general negative attitude England's supporters have about their chances, England's prospects in the near-term aren't looking too good. That's especially true now that they're down a bunch of matches in Euro qualifications. And given the job Sven did, apparently knowing about football isn't a requirement for the job. (Dear god, man! You're picking freak-show Crouch, complete newbie Wolcott, old man Owen, and broken ankle Rooney over Defoe for the Cup?) ...I hope Bauer can pull through great things in the Euro Tournament!

I think he needs to work his magic in the US first. It's a shame to have this much talent and resource in tbhe US and not be able to win a World Cup.
