There is no SKY in the space because when you go to space you are in the sky. The color is color of light you get to see and most of the time it is BLACK as there is no light source near by.

The sky in space is black.
Our sky is blue because of the gases in our atmosphere. In space there are no gases so the light just shines right through the nothingness. Space is called space because its just space, so theres nothing for light to reflect off of. thats why its black. Look at the picture in the link I provided. You can see the blue of earth slowly fade into black as the gas of earth gets less and less. Enjoy

First of all there is no SKY in space as there are no grounds for demarcation , basically all you are in will be thy SKY . It will only be pitch black unless when close to any planet due to the absence of any light source .
