My kitchen oven cause a ground trip each time we use it. I was told the reason is that there are moisture in the heater element and to dry it, remove ground and let it heat up and dry for some time powering up. Of coz do not let anyone touch the oven.

It dry up and everything was fine and the ground is screw back. Work fine. Next morning, it trip again.

The electrician came and simply change the plug, it works. Why?

Your old plug was worn out. When your oven heated up, so did the wires in the plug. This could have caused your plugs wires to become loose,or broken, and stopped the flow of electrical power,or interrupted it .When plugs heat up, the wires contract and expand, and this sometimes causes wires to work their self's loose. That also could have caused it to short.Your lucky you didn't have a fire. Also to keep your plugs in working order, use a vacuum on them. Also vacuum your smoke alarms, thermostats, and battery chargers. This will keep them running efficiently.
