George Bush spent 256,000,000 John Kerry spent 204,000,000.
In 2008 the price will go up. Hillary said she would not seek matching funds from the tax payers meaning she will get all her money from private sources. Will this mean she owes them more than she owes us?.....We will have to see.

Spend so much money to be a US President? lol..I rather have the money goes to charity and the needy one...beside the pay of US president is just a fraction of the money spend on election. what a world...

That bothers me why spend many millions for a job that only pays 4-500 000 p/y and is only temporary at most 8 years with no career prospects.
There is something fishy about that.

Just promise the owners of the big oil companies that if you get elected you will invade some countries and give them contracts to extract the oil from the conquered countries. If you do that the oil companies will fund your campaign. Thats what George Bush did with the Texan oil men
