1. "Parzania" a film on 2002 Gujarat riots is shelved off screens in Gujarat because theatre-owners fear that VHP and Bajrang Dal vandals may destroy property - as if the Police in the State is incapable of restraining them, or is it.

2. Couples dating each other in Bhopal have been warned by Bajrang Dal if they celebrate Valentine's Day on Feb 14, they will be forced to "marry" each other in the name of "good morals".

3. Whenever a Muslim guy marries a Hindu girl, both their families have to bear the brunt of physical and mental assault from these people. Recently, in Surat in Gujarat - they forced the Hindu girl to go through an "abortion" without her consent and to file a case against the husband who was severely beaten for this assault on Hindu freedom.

Isn't this fair to say that VHP/Bajrang Dal are running a Parallel Government in many parts of India (but not all e.g. Kerala and WB which are Marxist states) - isn't this a Democracy where everyone is free?

The problem is common people do not come out in open condemnation of these outfits and the poison they spread into the fabric of Hindu society. Through their actions, they are destroying the tolerance culture in this country and when Government machinery like Police and Law protect their vandalism, they get the boost to do even more damage. Common people don't condemn these outfits out of security concerns for their own well-being as well as families. It is this vulnerability that these hooligans take advantage of. Many Engineering colleges in India have become hotbeds for VHP activities. Like a modern-day version of Ku Klux Klan, they instill terror among minorities and those who oppose their agenda. VHP is hell-bent on making India a dictatorship from a democracy.

Its the government backing that these organisations get which strengthens them to take law (if it exists) into their own hands. What can the common man do when even the police are in their hands. When the goverment machinery is supporting them, what can a common man do? The common man should defeat the government in the elections. That is the only solution to this lawless problem

The people do.

These groups feed on the discontent of others and instigate problems.

Their goal is to help bring down civilized societies. These groups are everywhere in the world doing the same thing over one pretest or another. Weaken society at the core.

When I was in Kerala this year, what impressed me was the churches and mosques and temples all being built close together and the people so well blended.

There is an international movement to take over all democracies and republics. We see it in Britain and Canada and the U.S. of A. as well as Australia. It is not just in India. Divide and conquer is a popular technique.

To be honest, I cannot see how a Hindu/Muslim couple could find a way to make their families happy when it comes to children. it was not until I spent time in India did i realize how important such matters are. Both religions are family or ancestor based. But what you relate is a tragedy.

Valentine Day is not worth losing anything over. Honest. Most of us dislike it intensely.

I, for one, do not hold any brief for these Hindu outfits. But, please understand that the Hindus now feel threatened with the strident attitudes of the other religious groups in India. Hindus have been traditionally welcoming the people professing other faith. Now, those following other religions are trying poaching into the Hindu community thus further reducing the already shrinking Hindu population. Hindu society has suffered in the hands of the marauding warrior from the Afghan in the Middle Ages and in the hands of the Western Colonialists, who brought with the missionary christian groups, whose proselytising zeal has not waned even to-day. In this background, the activities of the Hindu outfits are but understandable.

These people are real terrorist... they blame Islam for terrorism. What these people are doing in some parts of India are totally terrorism and they should be contained else we see a bad days in near future. Islam always forbidden these Valentine things, but these Hindu Hardliner are doing so, they are doing the work of Islam. Well, what happened in Gujrat riot, its a real shame for Democratic India. Muslims are going to Jannah (Paradise) Earth is nothing for them. We Muslims have to think for after life.. these life on the earth is for maximum 100 years but after life is infinite.
