my relatives all live in the u.s.a. and are citizens and my 2 daughters, l6 and l7 are there to visit them, i wonder what visa can they get to let them stay a little longer or for them to be granted an extention of visit because they only got a 3month visit.

It sounds like, first, they were granted a tourist/visitors visa already, and were limited, for whatever reasons, to 3 months. If this is the case, most likely they will not be able to get an extension or another visa while remaining in the U.S. And if they overstay their visa's, they run the risk of not being allowed back into the U.S. in the future.

I have been in the same situation, and the answer they told me is that, you can't get a visa while in the US. You have to apply for it before going, not while you are there.
