Most glass blocks most UV rays. Stay there long enough though, like driving a long time with the sun shining through that window, and your arm will show signs of sun exposure.

Your question is wrong! Actually you can get a sunburn if you are behind glass. In fact, the sunburn becomes worse because the glass magnifies the solar heat.

Ultraviolet (non-visible) light is the villain in sunburn, and it doesn't get through glass.
