Yep! Sounds like The Da Vinci Code. It told the story of Mary Magdalene and that she was a hooker who Jesus had a relationship with. It got quite a few people up in arms about the film, although I thought it was brilliant. (and certainly more believable that the usual stories) It made them actually all more "human" to us.
