After how long from you're relationship did you/your partner take this step? If you didn't yet, then how long have you been in ur relationship so far and what are you waiting for to do this step.

P.S (for the girls): if you're with him for almost tow years and he didn't ask you yet! Is that normal and how it make you feel about that??

Regards,
Confused

Let's see.

We started seeing each other April 10..
We said "I love you" on April 15
On April 18 I said "Marry me..." and he said "Yes"

But we never lived together. We just got hitched. :) It's been more than two wonderful years now.

After meeting my husband we moved in together one month later. Yes it was very fast, but we knew from the very first day we met we would be together. We have been together for 15 years now. However, if you have been with your boyfriend for two years and moving in together is something you want and yet you and he have not talked about it then obviously he is either not ready, not sure you are ready or not the type of person who believes in premarital cohabitation or something. Either way if you love this man and want to spend your life with him then you should be close enough and comfortable enough in your relationship to broach the subject and talk to him about this. One way or another during the course of the conversation you will find out how he feels and where he stands on the subject. And if you are willing to move in with him prior to marriage then stop waiting for him to ask you. You obviously don't stand on ceremony as far as living with someone without marriage is considered so why feel as if you have to wait for the man to ask you before saying anything? Talk to the man. You might just be surprised at what you find out. Either way you will have some answers. Go For it.

I went out with my gf 7 years before we got married & lived together.

I think that that is a bit too long but eventually she told me that we were getting married so we did & it got better.

Some men don't take the initiative & don't like making the arrangements, they have to be led by the woman

Well we dated for just over two years when he got a job offer in China. He took it and six months later he asked me to move out there with him. It didn't end up working out but to answer you question. Two and a half years.

Haha, I haven't been out with any "Panters" yet. Are they good lovers?

Sorry, I love spelling mistakes that don't belong to me lol. I haven't been in a relationship with anyone yet, so I wouldn't know.

Did you ever consider asking him if he wanted to move in with you? Because he could be waiting for you to ask!
