C'an Pastilla, is an attractive little resort and is situated down the east side of the Bay of Palma. There's definitely a bit more of a family holiday feel to the East coast of the Bay of Palma, although nightlife, superb sandy beaches, an array of watersports and the biggest Waterpark in Europe also just happen to be here too!
This area is a bit more popular with the Germans so expect Frankfurters and German Beer instead of Sauages and Lager!
You'll not be short of bars though the pace is perhaps a little slower than the West side of the Bay of Palma. A clean and pleasant promenade walkway links C'an Pastilla to S'Arenal, for those leisurely strolls and it has a friendly feel with a mix of German and British bars and restaurants running along the promenade. It's close to the airport so definitely the quickest check-in time to your acommodation from Palma Airport.

Night life tends to be provided by the hotels and bars, as this is a reasonably peaceful destination that tends to favour a family or older type of market. that said, there are a few nightspots, for example, The Rising Sun is a Live Music Club. As of November there will be 5 nights of Live-Music per week it's quite a classy but cosy environment. There is mainly Soul Music being presented by some black American singers who belong to the famous Drifter`s Band playing in a Mallorca Casino early nights. I believe the club is run by one of the Drifters and a German Guitar player presenting the best Bands and artists in Mallorca. Sunday Nights are Soul Jam-Sessions with an open stage for experienced singers and musicians.
Can Pastilla also has superb beach bars, and is a popular spot with resident Palma young people.

I'm sure it will be fine, but if you are looking for more of a British resort- try Palma Nova or Magaluf!
