Is it like when they gave Reagan a pass for lying about Iran/Contra?
Is it when they raked Clinton over the coals for a private (non-criminal I may remind you) affair?
Is it how they swept the Haliburton/Cheny connection under the rug?
Is it how they let Bush get away with covering up his draft dodging, oops, I mean military service records?
Is it why you never hear Katrina mentioned anymore?
The liberal media is a myth.

babyDoll-there are a LOT more important things than a filandering husband. Yeah it's shady but when people are being killed all over the world and disease and poverty are right here in the USA we should have focused on more relvant things. It was part of a partisan political attack that in it's very existence, disgraced the country. Nixon was given a pardon for FAR worse crimes.(And AGAIN IT WAS NOT A CRIME)

There has always been two types of media. One that tries to inform, and one that is out to promote a private financial agenda.
Since the founding of the media, first in Radio, and then in Television almost all funding has been from private sources, and all those private sources have had an agenda to increase their incomes.
Only public and Liberal governments have reigned in those private interests, trying to force a structure that can inform without prejudice, using the fact the there is only one public radio spectrum, and therefore those who use it have a responsibility as a private government to act responsibly.
That concept never worked well, and with Reagan and the death of the fairness doctrine, has not worked at all. Now virtually all information is precensored to advance a corporatist, and Neocon agenda, in some cases more covertly by stories they do not do, but in ever more cases, overtly, often promoting a lie, even as the truth is self evident to any but the totally thoughtless.
Winger talk about liberal reporters is like blaming the production line employees for the design and sorts of cars produced.

The Liberal media is NOT a myth! 98% of the media in the U,S. is liberal leaning. Where do you hear about Bill Clinton's violation of the Posse Comitatus Act, or his refusal at the CIA's 13 attempts on Osama Bin Laden? Where do you hear about the House Oversight Committee Report On the Oklahoma City Bombing that states Al Queda Members were involved with Terry Nickols and Timothy McVeigh? How much do you see about Sandy Berger stealing Top-Secret doccuments from the National Archives? You don't and that is because of the 98% liberal slant of the media. You Might look up some FACTS instead of spewing liberal hogwash because NONE of what you posted is FACT.

One of the most blatant examples is the coverage they give to any Dimobrat Ex-President-all to undermine the Current!
Combine that with the constant referral to Slick Willie as "President" Clinton, instead of the Former President!!!
Now, look at Big Gay Al Gore's Documentary where he boldly lies that he was ever the elected President with no accountability issues being voiced whatsoever!
Let's not forget that the Clinton(S) were in the White House for 8 Years ALREADY!!!
Now, they are supposed to possibly be allowed to move back in?
LMFAO---no lib bias whatsoever!!!!

Hey, someone brought up Clinton in an answer. Drink! (It's a new drinking game I've got).
I think you're right that there is no real "liberal" media--there's a capitalistic media which just wants to earn money. The examples you give are good ones.

Jason ... Didn't you and I have a chat once before? I don't think you're looking for Yahoo Answers. What YOU need is your own BLOG!
Please see my link below. This might prove to be a better place to express your poorly-based opinions vice making political statements that are disguised as questions. Don't you think?

I think it should be a criminal act to have sex in the white
house!!! That is not the place where a President or any
one in their right mind would bring their personal life or
expose their sex organs. There was a time when people
use to despise & hate adultery,& it was a crime according
to history. Maybe if it still was, adultery would be alot lower
cause if you will cheat on your own family,I know I sure
can't trust you either!!!

I think that the press is considered liberal because it sometimes questions the current rule. Anyone that questions is considered liberal.

We live in a time when it seems that no one wants to hear anything that goes against their beliefs. Why else would some of us drive around listening to a drug addict telling us everything that we want to hear?
