Yes. I began having my doubts when John Glen was asked to swear on a Bible that he did walk on the moon and he punched the guy in the face and left.
UPDATE: Yeah, sorry... I'm an idiot. It was Buzz Aldren. I don't really know one way or another what happened or didn't. Certainly it would've been a waste of resources to fly to the moon, particularly during the height of the cold war & war with Vietnam. And I'm sure if they had the technology to go to the moon, they would have the technology to fake it as well.

Curt, Anthony's basic story is correct, except it was Buzz Aldrin, not John Glenn. See the video and watch the 72-year-old Aldrin kick some skeptic butt:

pshsda says (translaterd): "Certainly, everyone in Guatemala believes that man was never on the moon". Wow, if Guatemala's citizens are skeptical, maybe this hoax theory has some merit, har har...
Eugene: The Fox network, eh? The same guys that brought us Alien Autopsy? Well, in the case of the Faked Moon Landing, at least this time they didn't go with something that was ridiculously easy to debunk.

Yes, and it's totally idiotic.
I was alive then. Neither the technology nor the social/political/security situation would have permitted a fake.

Anthony,
I don't think you should joke like that. People might not know you're kidding, if they don't remember that John Glenn never actually went on a moon mission.

It's not a theory... it was a mhyth started by two guys in their seventies who made a lot of bucks off this BS.. It was based on a TV show done by the Fox network whom I rely on for all my scientific knowledge.
