Love if giving up a part of yourself, and allowing that part to be filled by some one or something else.
it could be filled by a person....like a boyfriend, girlfriend, parents, friends...
or by something, like sports or music.
Friendship is knowing that you'll always hav some 2 lean on, talk to n hav a blast with 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
There's a quote i luv that goes...
"One day friendship and love met. Love asked friendship, "Why do you exist, if i exist?"
Friendship replied..."To leave a smile where you leave tears =) "

The difference is if you are in love you want to share everything and anything with that person. You want to be with them and you love them just because. If you are friends with that person you can go a day without them and you do not feel the need to share every thing about your life with them. If you are in love that person should not only be your partner they should be your best friend.

I love my dearest friends, male and female, but I don't desire them sexually, I want that physical contact w my husband. Of course I tend to make everything about sex anyway but that's my take on it. LOL
I'm just saying that when I am in love with someone I want that closeness that sex gives you. Not that there haven't been a few I wanted sex with that I didn't love, but that's a whole different question now isn't it? hehe
