If and when the inevitable separation comes, and if they start a program together which will turn face?

I personally think it will be Edge, and I will elaborate further as to why soon. I first wanna see other viewpoints though.

Or, do you see a heel-heel angle? I personally don't think that would work, becasue the more markish fans who only cheer faces would have noone to support.

The fans would have to be mainupulated into liking one of the two guys again, and I feel, despite the Matt Hardy/Lita thing, it would be Edge

You both put your argument well, and Cable I think you make some interesting points in particular. However, I don't agree with the first guy about Edge's repuslvie face lol, he has the look and he is actually deceptively muscular.

I didn't notice that Orton was acting more face recently, still can't think what ya mean even after the trigger.

I agree the guy who leaves the ring to have his partner get a Chair shot on top of another Chair is going to stay the heal in the break. Orton has bin playing more and more of a Face and I would really be surprised if that wasn't the case. Also Edge is Fantastic Heal and I would be really disappointed if he turned. With HHH hurt and Jericho gone he is absolutely the best bad guy in the business. Orton plays both about the same not that Edge doesn't play a good face but not at the same high level we get from him now.

well Ive been thinking about the same thing too....so here's my viewpoint.....

first of all I feel Edge and Randy are going to separate very soon, so they could clash at WrestleMania this year. But at the same time, that's not WM quality cause we've seen both of these guys clash numerous times before.....

anyways, i'll go on to answer your question....

I think Edge will remain heel and Randy would turn face.....remember when Edge asked Orton to join him battle DX, remember the fans were cheering Orton to say no and turn face??

i also strongly feel that Orton can be great face, remember the time when after Evolution betrayed him and he turned face against HHH??? I really felt that he plays a damn good face....so been quite some time we've seen Orton be a face, and I personally feel Edge plays a much much better heel.....

So in my point of view, its time for Orton to turn face, Edge to stay heel, and the both clash at WrestleMania 23 will be a classic.....if things go the other way around, i personally feel it would suck cause Edge plays a much better heel than face......

I recently read an interview of Edge's & he said he's having the time of his life as heel.It seemss he has a certain amount of input into his storylines.
For sure the RKO will split given the way things are going.But it will be Edge who remains heel with Orton turning face.There's a certain amount of logic in it if you think of it re future storylines.
HHH will return at some point & for sure DX will reform.If the rumours of HBK winning the belt at WM23 are true then HHH could challenge the showstopper for the gold.HHH has always played best as heel.So he could return as such.That gives room for a DX v Rated-RKO match-up featuring the new line-up - HHH & Edge v HBK & Orton.Sounds good? Yep.Crazy?Probably.
There's so much leeway in the singles & tag divisions to keep these 4 in ppv's for the rest of the year.

I think Orton has the ability to be the next great heel in the business. Therefore if they split, Edge will likely become a face. But, I'm not a big Edge fan, and personally think his bony physique and repulsive mule face make him a pansy in guys' eyes, and a total skank in women's eyes.

to answer your first bit, i think that randy orton will turn face because every time edge and he fall out, have you noticed that the fans in attendance chat "RKO, RKO, RKO".
