I think I worded this wrong because I'm getting bland answers. Oh well, that is the Yahoo life.

There was a girl I really, really liked who happened to be a member of a very religious family. They were pretty hard core Christians. I never told her how I felt, and this was part of it (although she wasn't quite as devoted to the faith and had a tendency to pick and chose what she would follow in her religion like many good christian girls do), but it wasn't the only reason. I just didn't really trust her to be kind and considerate with the rejection I would inevitably face :)

No. Religion has never been an issue. All the guys I've met or rather "fallen for" were too smart to worry about religion.

Love can't be dictated by organized religion.

Nope.

I'm not sure how their religion would keep me from telling them that I've fallen for them, although I've only fallen for people who are comfortable with their own sexuality to begin with.

Yes! I've met a lot of lesbians that have a faith, usually christian, and my faith is well...not too pleasant for them.
