He ranks 20th out of 30 in the NFL with his Passer Rating (75.7), but was 21st out of 30 in Total Rushing Yards on the season (1039 and the only QB named on the rushing statistic board). He also holds the record for the Highest Average Gain per Game (10 Rushing Attempts), which is a record that is usually bestowed up Running Backs.

So do you keep him as a QB or as a coach do you convert him into a RB?

And to answer lilcurly, yes I see the Falcons being more successful with someone like Matt Schaub because Petrino's system is system that centers around a throwing QB. I think that Vick's lofty contract is his bargaining chip, but they'll eventually tire of paying someone who doesn't produce.

He's a lower than average NFL QB. I don't think he has the body size or mass to be a full time RB. Maybe more of a slash WR/RB would be a better fit

Wide Receiver he very fast has the jumping ability from his all state basketball years. Has the soft hands and has a handle for the ball. He does have great vision as a running back but could not take the hits. I think he be very dangerous after the catch. I also feel that atlanta should bring in another excellent Qb but keep vick in the mix at it to off set defenses and coverage. One other thing we still have not seen him with an excellent receiver ,give him someone with the talent of a johnson or steve smith no telling what could happen then his receivers dropped everything last year and had no clue how to run routes

Vick has done some amazing things as a Quarterback in the NFL. Additionally, he has shown improvements in his passing game over the years. That being said, Vick will never be John Elway; however he is a tremendous athlete who does what it takes to win games. Don't forget, it takes more than one player to win.

Vick would never succeed as a running back. He doen't have the build for it....

IF I was a coach he would not be the quarterback on my team. I think Matt Schuabb (the back up in ATL) coudl be better than him. Vick to me is more of a wideout . You dont see many 6 foot RBs weighting 200lbs. They are that size and 260 lbs.

I would keep him as a QB, he can run but hes not really built for a Running-Back position. I would not consider him the most accurate QB right now but he can definitely throw far so some of his skills perfectly fit him in the QB position. He can scramble with the best of them and can throw as far as you need, he just needs a little accuracy training.

do you really think Vick could be a running back? He would get murdered as a running back. The only reason is he so successful (besides his speed) is even if the defense has everybody covered Vick can still just take off running and get a huge gain. I think Schaub, or whatever that losers name is, is a moderate qb but you would be a ******* idiot if you played him instead of Vick. If i was the defensive coordinator of the other team i would blitz the **** outta him. hes immobile. im pretty sure if he was so good he wouldnt have been riding the bench his whole career.

"Make him a running back - he has the crappy "I, Me, Mine" attitude like a lot of other RBs in the league.

At any rate, he is over rated and a wannabe thug. Anyone who flips off the people who create the revenue for your paycheck deserves to be cut."

LOL @ make him a running back because he has an attitude like a running back. He is skin and bones compared to other rbs in the league.

LOL @ cut Michael Vick, somebody who is one of the best scrambling qbs in the game. He can flick off anybody he wants cuz at the end of the day The League knows HE SELLS TICKETS. how many people go and buy Schaub jerseys LOL

Right now, he's a glorified RB behind a shaky O-line. Give him a good FB and a better O-line, he'll be able to make his reads better, get more comfortable in the pocket, and show off that arm nore often!

I think you put in matt schaub in at QB and vick in at running back. That would make it hard for the defense to try to see what they are doing.

His wide recievers don't get open and when they do they have a lot of drops...
Why do you think he throws to Crumpler all the time?
Good luck with Schaub as your qb. Lets see what he does once defenses have film on him and can adjust accordingly.
